A lifetime of love and involvement with the Arabian horse crystalised the foundation of Jai-Rhan Arabians twelve years ago. The stud is situated near Wollongong approximately 1 hours drive from Sydney on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales.

An ideal of what this exquisite breed represents to us, coupled with enthusiasm, passion and a love for the Arabian breed, with everything it represents  is which first brought Jai-Rhan Arabians into being and continues to fire our involvement.

Our aim is to breed quality individuals, equally capable of excelling at performance and halter.  To this end the pedigrees of our horses reflect some of the best and most influential and potent horses.  Of the two sides of our breeding program one is exclusively straight Egyptian, with our three mares purchased from the world famous Simeon Stud, in Dural.  The mares, Simeon Samir - (Asfour x Simeon Shuala imp USA), who will bred to Imperial Madarr (imp USA) year, and Simeon Shakhor - black ((Anaza Bay Shahh imp USA x Simeon Soosa - a Simeon Sadik(Exp UK), daughter)) who has produced two foals to Asfour (Imp Germany), a liver chestnut colt, and a solid black filly Thirdly there is Simeon Sarelli (Asfour x Simeon Sukari).  These three exquisite individuals reflect the best of straight Egyptian bloodlines in the world and will no doubt breed on their exclusive qualities in all their offspring.

The second side to our program is that of Crabbet, Polish and Spanish bloodlines.  These pedigrees also reflect some of the finest. At present we have Arundel House Yaventia, (Arundel House Rashan x Pinosa Park Silhouette), having won Australian National Stud Show Champion Ridden Mare, Australian National Champion and East Coast Overall Champion – Ridden, and with Australian National Champion and East Coast Champion Bridle Path Hack, plus too many supreme wins to mention.  She is also a proven halter mare with numerous AA graded wins and supreme wins.  Her first foal is by the gorgeous Arabian Riding Pony Stallion “Tungarra Dream Time” (Small-Land Mascot imp X Tungarra Gay Lady), owned by the Barnes family, well know for their previous champion saddle horses Gleniph Jasperanza and Lord Carrington.  For her second foal to Mangnum 44 (Imp USA) she had an amazing solid bay filly.  Yaventia is soon set to make a return to the show arena as she completes her maternity duty.

Then there is the ethereal mare River Oak Dream Girl (Kyremmi Illustraa x River Oak Dancing Girl).  This big, bold, powerful yet feminine mare, has also had numerous halter wins at AA grade shows, including futurities and Australian National Champion-Top 10 honours.  She has stood Reserve Champion Mare Ridden to Yaventia at East Coast and then to our absolute delight won the coveted East Coast Cup for purebreds under saddle, all in her first season as a saddle horse!.   She has given us an amazing bay filly by Fame Maker R, which is offerred for sale.  Watch out for this explosive mare when she returns to the show ring soon!

We believe that this nucleus of proven bloodlines, a small number of select family groups will continue to stand Jai-Rhan in great stead in the coming years. The results we have achieved so far have surpassed all our expectation. It gives us much enjoyment to watch this wonderful breed display themselves whether they are at play at home or in full regalia in the show ring.
